On May 27th 2016, we invited Mr Zhou Yuanbing Grid, the vice president of Energy Research Institute of China State Grid Corp, and Mr Wu Wenxuan, the director of the Science and Technology Information Department of Fujian Electric Power Company as the speakers for the forum. Mr Zhou Yuanbing’s lectures centered on the theme of the global energy Internet expansion, and then Mr Wu Wenxuan, introduced the current situation of energy and electricity of Fujian.

Mr Zhou Yuanbing firstly introduced the basic contents and key points of energy Internet from the theoretical aspects, so that students have an intuitive impression of the Internet. Then he showed the feasibility and necessity of the energy Internet on the base of global energy Internet. In the end, he exchanged many ideas with students.

Director Wu Wenxuan shared the history of the development of Fujian power grid with us. He introduced five aspects: the power supply, demand situation, energy resources, power installed development, structure of power grid development and present development of smart grid. Finally, he also told students the graduate recruitment needs of China State Grid Corp.
