At 19:30 on May 2nd, the academic department held the 72nd energy forum in Building Hemu. This forum invited Qiu DeKun, who had exchange experience in National Tsing Hua University, Mao Yu, who had exchange experience in Sun Yat-Sen University, Qin Bitan, and Wang Zhonghua, Pian kirin who had exchange experience in Jilin University. The forum was hosted by Jiang Hao, the director of the academic department.

        First, Qiu Dekun shared with us what he had seen, learned and thought when he went to Taiwan for exchange. He told us the long history and distinguished alumni of Southwest United University, and compared the similarities and differences between the mainland andTaiwan students on life values and the teachers'teaching methods.

        Next, Mao Yu shared her experience of studying at Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan. She introduced in detail the information she got from Xiamen University's international cooperation and exchange center, as well as the details of application, interview and document preparation. Then, for the school life, Mao Yu happily talked about the exciting experience of taking part in the sailing class, and carefully explained the reason for choosing what college to exchange learning and the local people's tenderness, respect and tolerance.

        Subsequently, Qin Bitan represented the three students who went to Jilin University for exchange shared their experience with us. After briefly introducing the procedure of exchange application, he showed the photos of their curriculum and experiments in Jilin University and compared the cultural atmosphere between Jilin University and Xiamen University based on his own feelings. Then, Qin shared their interesting experiences under the extremely cold weather in the north.
        At last, the students asked questions about the inter-school communication and they shared their opinions on the inter-school communication.
