At 19:30 on March 20, 2018, the 70th energy forum organized by the academic department was held in the Room A203 of the college of energy. This forum was given by the minister of academic department, Lai Pengbin, who has introduced some interesting knowledge about astrophysics.

The forum was composed of five parts. The first part--the evolution from Kun to Peng. Lai Pengbin argued that it was the rich and meaning imagination of scientists that led to the discovery of the cosmic microwave, and thus to the development of astrophysics.

The second part--luck was the passport of the universe. In this part, he briefly introduced the process and the principles of the birth of the universe, so that we understood how lucky human beings were to exist in the universe.

The third part--the chaotic dark matter. Lai Pengbin described the exploration process of dark matter in detail from the discovery of gravitational waves.  

The fourth part--the chaotic dark energy. Through vivid explanation, Lai solved the doubt in everybody's mind that what was the shape of the universe and if the dark energy really existed. He also pointed out that our exploration of the universe was still not enough.

The fifth part--cosmological perspective. In this part, he showed the magnificent image of the earth taken by Voyager One, and encouraged us to look at the reality from a cosmological perspective.
