On March 11th, the 2017 Strategic Cooperation Working Conference of Xiamen University and nine cities and one district in Fujian Province was held at the Science and Technology Center of our school. Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Education Department, Science and Technology Department, Economic and Information Commission, Oceanic and Fishery Department, the governments of cities and districts in Fujian province, the representatives of departments and enterprises gathered together and discussed the cooperation between each other and the development of Fujian Province with our school leaders, experts and scholars. The number of those who attended the conference was more than 500.

    Under the unified deployment of our school, College of Energy organized carefully and screened out 11 technologies to be displayed in the exhibition such as “Bamboo biomass clean separation to prepare new biomass sugar (low poly xylose) technology”. Biomass Energy, Solar Energy, Nuclear Energy, Ammonia Fuel, Energy Efficiency Engineering and some other fields were all included. Material objects which were showed in the exhibition included the xylo-oligosaccharides serial products which is developed jointly by our college and enterprise and the solar polycrystalline silicon. Those two technologies have been in cooperation with some enterprises to carry out technological transformation. Our technologies and achievements are closely related to the development of new energy industry in Fujian Province and attracted a large number of departments and business representatives stop to visit and discuss.
