On the evening of December 30, Room B207 of student activity center in Xiang’an campus was full of laughter. New Year’s Day Party called “Full Energy” performed warmly. Hot dance, wonderful singing, humorous crosstalk, loving reading…all kinds of programs take turns, interesting games and lucky draws added color to the party. The party was hosted by Weng Jie, Gao Yuxuan, Shi Chunsen and He Yiying. Dean Li Ning, Deputy Dean Guo Qixun, Vice Secretary of Party Committee Ma Zhaohai, Vice Secretary of Party Committee Miao Huifang, as well as the head teacher and counselor teacher presented at the party with students.

Before the start of the party, the opening video made by Propaganda Center which reconstructed the unforgettable moment of our college during the first three years lit the atmosphere. At 8 pm, the four hosts walked onto the stage, extended cordial welcome to the leaders, teachers and schoolmates and announced the official start of the party in the audience’s warm applause.

First, Dean Li Ning gave a speech, reviewed the development history of School of Energy Research and the College of Energy over the years, expressed his ardent blessings and hope for teachers and students and built the atmosphere that gave warmth joy for the party.

Next, the time is for students’ performance. The “UE” dance from hip-hop association made the atmosphere exciting with an energetic dance “orange soda drink or not”, glaring light in every corner of the field, passion and joy filled in every audience’s face. Then five 2016 grade boys sang a romantic song “love balloons” and interacted with the audience. Lv Xuejing from School of Life Science brought together with Hu Xueya a song and beautiful dance. Then Lu Xi with partners Zhao Yuenan from the International College performed street dance “Been around the world”, causing the audience’s cheer.

Dialect show performed by the freshmen from different provinces drove the audience to laughter, they played dubbing with their revenges for the classic film and television, which was a unique style of performance. Ding Ning and other three classmates performed a guitar playing “Home”, expressed their thoughts to hometown, as well as the attachment for our college. Wu Xiaoyan and He Yiying from Bole Crosstalk Club brought the only language program throughout the party—the crosstalk “know-how”, winning the audience gales. Taekwondo association performed “After the Typhoon” is unstoppable, neat product action potential showed great skill and let the audience repeatedly praise.

With Ye Yirong piano accompaniment, Lin Shaoquan and Jiang Mingjun from the International College joined together to sing “You Are Beautiful”. Yang Ao played piano and sang “Hundreds of ML of Tears”. Liang Tenghe and other seven students’ performance of “Our Song” let people immersed in the beautiful melody.

Finally, the poetry of “The Four Years in a Hurry” which highlighted the party made every inch of the air full of warmth. Seven graduating senior students sent the sincerest thanks and best wishes to students and teachers for four years of undergraduate life, and also expressed their touching for the development with our college step by step in the form of poetry, which deeply engraved the theme of the party in everyone's heart.

During the whole party, the host also actively interacted with the audience with interesting games. Everyone laughed happily, party also played a video about all aspects of the development of College of Energy, since grade 2013 undergraduate admission, each session of students of military training, students recruitment, learning activities, and A221 conference room activity photos. Every frame records the unforgettable moments and all tears in a flash stamp. This memory of common growth of the collective pushed the party to a climax. The success of the New Year’s Day Party fully demonstrated the style and vitality of our students, highlighted the unity and cohesion of our college. Tonight, the four grades gathered, we celebrated together. Tonight, is the end of the past, but also a new start. In 2017, the remarkable year, all energetic people gathered, we will be together, hand in hand advances boldly and create a better future!
