At the beginning of this month, Xiamen University held the 2017Summary and Commendation Meeting on the Undergraduate Science and Technology Innovation Contest and the awarding ceremony of the “Dezhen Social Classroom Fund” in the Science and Art Center. At this commendation, many teachers and students of our college were commended for their outstanding achievements in science and technology.
Teacher Li Shuirong was awarded with the “Outstanding Instructor Award”. The H2-SCR low-temperature denitration high-efficiency catalyst design and synthesis that he directed won the third prize of the first “Ami Asian Cup” Energy Environmental Innovation Competition in Xiamen University.

The project of Wang Mu, a 2014 grade undergraduate, and other students, named Small home DC microgrid system design based on photovoltaic power generation and DC home appliance integration technology won the Best Creativity Award in the 2nd Xiamen University Undergraduate Science and Technology Competition under the guidance of Teacher Zhang Fengyan.

The project Campus Intelligent Transportation (instructor Zhang Yuli) by the 2014 grade undergraduate student Wang Wei and other students, the project Digital Instrument Control System Probabilistic Security Analysis Software Development and Research (Instructor Yan Huifang) by 2014 grade undergraduate student Gao Yuxuan and other students and the project New wind power generation and wind speed sensing system based on friction nano-generator (instructor Xie Yannan) by 2015 grade undergraduate student Qiu Dekun and other students' won the Excellent College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program Project Award on the second Xiamen University Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Meeting.




The undergraduate students Wang Zhonghua, He Shiwei and Guan Linxiang collaborated with graduate students Zeng Jianrui, Lai Meirong, Chen Yifen, He Shuai Shuai completed the project “Energy Youth Bank – Hualong No. 1 Going Out Prospect Analysis and Fujian Nuclear Power Consumption Survey” and won the “Most Energy-oriented Youth Research Team Award 2017” on The Energy Youth Youth Summer Research Program. At the same time, they was awarded the third prize of the 2017 Undergraduate Academic Competition of Xiamen University.

The 2015 grade undergraduate students Tang Youning and Pian Qilin's project “Ammonia-based urban low-carbon energy solutions” won the 2017 Go green in the city Global Student Challenge China Top Ten. This is also the second consecutive year that our undergraduate students have entered the China top ten in this competition. This project was awarded the third prize of the 2017 Undergraduate Academic Competition of Xiamen University.
