The 2018 graduation ceremony of Energy College of Xiamen University was held in the lecture hall of Dewang Library on June 15. Attendees included Dean Ning Li, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College  Ziguang Sun, Vice Dean Lu Lin, deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College Zhaohai Ma, Labor union chairman Zhenghong Zhang, Professor Chao Chen, Vice professor Qixun Guo, Lecture Shuirong Li, Class advise Yaoli Zhang and Duo Wang, League secretary Shufeng Gong, Consellor Shiyu Huang. Graduates and their family members attended celebration.

Beginning with a video made by graduate students to recall their college life, the ceremony officially started with the rhythm of Chinese national anthem. Then, Dean Ning Li gave a speech to welcome professors and guests, and send his best wish to all the graduating students. He hoped that they could keep the motto of college in their mind, which is “Develop Energy Technology, and Change the World Together!”, and achieve more honor in their future.

        The representative of teachers Yaoli Zhang also congratulated all the graduating students on accomplishing their studies successfully. He recalled those precious days with them and noted that it’s important to have strong faith in their heart which will give them power to overcome the difficulties when they encounter in the futher.

        Then the representative of undergraduates Shisheng Zheng and the representative of graduate students Feilong Xiao gave their speech to appreciate those concerns and supports from our college staff, and expressed their confidence to inherit the spirit of energy college. They reflected that it’s an honor to graduate from here and they have the responsibility to keep it in the future.

         Finally, Vice Dean Lu Lin announced the list of “2018 undergratuades, graduate students and doctoral students” and the list of “outstanding merit students, outstanding graduates, merit students, outstanding student cadres”. Dean Ning Li and  College party secretary Ziguang Sun presented the certificate of commendation to the students. Labor union chairman Zhenghong Zhang and the representative of teachers Duo Wang gave out the graduation souvenirs to graduate representatives.

         The ceremony ended in the rythem of the song of Xiamen University and memory of the past day. Best wish to all our graduating students and happy graduation.
