On the afternoon of Sept.11th, the freshman opening ceremony of College of Energy was held warmly in the activity center for students. Many leaders and teachers have attended, including Sun Ziguang, the college party secretary; Li Ning, the dean of college; Lin Lu, the vice dean of college and counselors Gong Shufeng and Huang Shiyu and etc, together with freshmen, 59 undergraduates and 57 graduates. The ceremony was hosted by college vice party secretary , Sun Jia.

In the wake of a brief welcome video, the ceremony began with rhythms of the national song. At first, dean of college, Li Ning elaborated the development of College of Energy. He also intended that the philosophy “Develop Energy Technologies, and Change the World Together!” had met with recognitions from those first-rate universities around the world.

Then vice dean of college, Lin Lu introduced the college major’s specialties and the mode of nourishing talents in College of Energy.

Zhu Xingyi, a member of Student Union, shared her marvelous experiences in the College of Energy, which indicated that such a small college could otherwise fountain with spirits and vitality. Also, she added that freshmen were supposed to be engaged in multiple activities in order to fulfill the flesh and surpass themselves continuously.
