Dr. Stephen, leader of Birmingham University’s “2+2” Project, visited College of Energy

In order to promote the implement of “2+2”Project between Birmingham University and Xiamen University and improve the internationalization of personnel training, on Dec.1st, a.m., Leader of Birmingham University’s “2+2” Project, Dr. Stephen visited College of Energy.

  

First, Dr. Stephen introduced the project to lower grade students. At the meeting, Dr. Stephen did detailed introduction of the condition of Birmingham University, application procedures and so on. Furthermore, he showed a video of studying life in England, which is beneficial for students to have a better command of England.

Afterwards, Dr. Stephen held discussions with our Dean Li and Teacher Xie Yannan. They had an in-depth discussion on the cooperation between the two universities.

University of Birmingham is located in Birmingham, UK's second largest city, which was founded in 1825. It is the first "red brick University", is also the member of British Ivy League University "The Russell Group", the M5 University alliance and members of"Universities 21”. Birmingham University enjoys a high reputation internationally for its excellent teaching quality and scientific research. The university ranks 82 in the QS world university rankings in 2016/2017.
